Tổng hợp những mẫu câu luyện thi IOE

1. Tặng quà cho bạn

– This/ That ……. (tên món quà) is for ……

Ex: This gift is for you.

– These/ Those ……. (tên món quà ở số nhiều) are for …..

Ex: These flowers are for you.

– Here is/are ……. (tên món quà) for …..

Ex: Here are some cards for you.

– Let’s buy …….(tên món quà) for …..

Ex: Let’s buy birthday cake for her birthday party.

2. Hỏi người (Who)

– Who is/are ………?

Ex: Who is the man wearing the black vest? – It’s Mr. Brown. He is a businessman.

– Who …………….with?

Ex: Who do you live with? – I live with my parents.

– Who can ………….?

Ex: Who can answer the third question?

3. Hỏi đồ vật (What)

– What’s this/ that/ it? – This is/ That’s/ It’s a/an ……….(tên đồ vật)

Note: It có thể thay thế cho this, that. “An” chỉ đi với các từ có chữ cái bắt đầu bằng 5 nguyên âm là “a_, o_, e_, u_, i_” ( anh ốm em úì)

Ex: What’s this? – It’s a yellow pencil sharpener.

– What are these/ those/ they? – These are/ Those are/ They’re …………(tên đồ vật)

Ex: What are these? – They’re ballpoint pens.

4. Hỏi tên

– What’s ……….(sở hữu cách) name?/ Who are you?/ Who is he/ is she?

Ex: What’s your brother’s name? – His name’s Minh/ He’s Minh.

– What’s the name of ………..(1 địa danh, người)? Its name’s ………(tên)

EX: What’s the name of your school? – Its name’s Oxford Primary School.

5. Hỏi nghề

– What do you do? – I’m a/ an ……….(nghề)

What does he/ she do? – He’s/ She’s a/ an ……….(nghề)

Ex: What’s does your father do? – He’s a factory worker.

– What’s your/ his/ her job? – I’m/ He’s/ She’s a/ an ………….(nghề)

Ex: What’s your brother’s job? – He’s an architect.

6. Hỏi sở thích

– What’s your/ his/ her hobby? – I/ He/ She like ………( động từ thêm ing)/( My/ His/ Her hobby is ……..)

Ex: What’s your hobby: – I like dancing.

– What’s your favourite colour/ subject/ food/ drink? – I like/ My favourite colour/ subject/ food/ drink is …….(danh từ)/ ……… is my favourite…..

Ex: What’s your favourite food? – My favourite food is hamburger/ Hamburger is my favourite food/ I like hamburger.

– What do you like (best/ the most)? – I like ……..(best/ the most/ very much)

Ex: What do you like best? – I like English best.

7. Xác định đồ vật, sự vật cụ thề

– Sở thích: What do you do in your free time/ break time? – I often ……..

Ex: What do you do in your free time? – I often go fishing.

– Giờ: What time is it?/ What time do you …..? – It’s ………(giờ)

Note: a quarter: 15 phút; a haft: 30 phút; to: kém; past: đã qua

Ex: What time is it? It’s a haft past eight/ eight thirty.

It’s a quarter to ten/ nine forty-five

– Thứ: What day is it? – It’s ……..(thứ)

Ex: What day is it today? – It’s Sunday.

– Ngày: What is the date? – It’s ………….( tháng_ngày)/ (the ngày of tháng)

Ex: What is the date today? – It’s the first of March/ It’s March 1^st.

– Tháng: What month is it? – It’s ……..

– Môn học: What subject do you like/ have? I like/ have ……….(môn)

– Màu sắc: What colour is/ are ……? It’s/ They’re ………(tên màu)

Ex: What colour are those sneakers? They’re white.

– Lớp/ Khối lớp: What/Which class/ grade are you/ is he/ is she in? – I’m/ He’s/ She’s in ……

Ex: What grade is your little sister in? – She’s in 4^th grade/ grade 4.

– Quốc tịch: What nationality are you/ is he/ is she? / What’s your/ his/ her nationality? – I’m ………

Ex: What nationality is your new pen-friend? – He’s Filipino.

– Bệnh: What’s the matter with you/ him/ her? I’ve/ He’s/ She’s got a/an……

Ex: What’s the matter with Phong? – He has got a headache.

8. Hỏi ngoại hình

– What does he/ she look like? – He’s/ She’s ……….

Ex: What do your sister look like? – She’s pretty and very cute.

9. Hỏi vị trí (where)

– Đồ vật: Where is/ are ……(đồ vật)? – It’s/ They’re ………..(các từ chỉ vị trí như in, on, at, under, behind, in front of, to the left of, to the right of + đồ vật cụ thể)

Ex: Where are the books? – They’re in my school bag/ on the table.

– Người: Where are you/ is he/ is she from? – I’m/ He’s/ She’s from …….(nước)

Where are you/ is he/ is she now/ at the moment? – I’m/ He’s/ She’s………

Ex: Where is Mary now? – She’s at school now/ in the kitchen now.

10. Hỏi thời gian, thời điểm (When)

– When do you have ……? I have…..on/ in/ at……..

Note: on + thứ, ngày; in + tháng, năm; at + giờ

Ex:When do you have Music? – I have it on Thursday.

– When’s ………….? – It’s on/ in/ at ……..

Ex: When’s your birthday? – It’s in May.

11. Hỏi nguyên nhân, lý do, mục đích (Why, What….for)

– Why are you/ is he/ she……….? Because ………….

Ex: Why is Mary happy? – She is happy because today is her birthday.

– What do you/ does he/she ………for? – I/ He/ She …. to

Ex: What does Mary go to the library for? – She goes to the library to read book.

12. Hỏi trạng thái (how)

– Sức khỏe: How are you/ is he/ is she? – I’m/ He’s/ She’s ……

Ex: How is your father? – He’s very well, thanks

– Cảm giác: How do you feel? – I’m …… I want…….

Ex: How do you feel? – I’m thirsty. I want a packet of milk.

13. Hỏi số lượng:

– How many ……. are there? – There is one/ a/ an …./ There are two ↑/ no/ many….

Note: sau many và các số từ 2 trở lên là danh từ số nhiều( thường có _s/ _es)

Trường hợp danh từ số nhiều không có s/es: person/people; child/children; tooth/teeth; foot/feet; man/men; woman/women.

Ex: How many books are there in your backpack? – There are three books.

14. Hỏi giá

How much is/ are………? – It’s/ They’re…………….(số tiền)

Ex: How much is the red skirt? – It’s 50,000 dong

15. Hỏi tần suất (how often)

How often do you ……? I ………

Note: Các trạng ngữ chỉ tần suất: always, usually, often, sometimes, rarely, never đứng sau dộng từ to be (is/ am/ are), đứng trước động từ thường. Once/ twice/ three times a week/a month/ a year, every day đứng vị trí cuối

Ex: How often do you go swimming? – I sometimes go swimming./ I go swimming twice a week.

16. Hỏi thời tiết:

– How’s the weather?/ What’s the weather like? – It’s ………..(thời tiết)

Ex: How’s the weather? – It’s foggy and humid.

17. Hỏi khoảng cách:

– How far is it from…..to……? It’s ……………..

Ex: How far is it from your house to your school? – It’s 500 metter.

18. Hỏi khoảng thời gian:

– How long do/ did you ………? – I ………for/ about …..

Ex: How long do you stay at Ha Long Bay? I stay there for two days.

19. Hỏi xin phép làm việc gì đó?

May I ……..? – Sure/ ok/ Yes, you can. or No, you can’t

Ex: Excuse me. May I sit on that chair, please? – Sure

20. Câu hỏi yes – no

– Is/ Does/ Can he/ she/ it/ this/ that ……? – Yes, he/ she/ it is/ does/ can. or No, he/ she/ it isn’t/ doesn’t/ can’t

Ex: Can your brother play football? – Yes, he can.

– Are/ Do/ Can/ Did you/ they/ these/ those …..? – Yes, I am/ they are/ do/ can did. or No, I am not/ they aren’t/ don’t/ can’t/ didn’t

Ex: Can you help me? – Yes, I can give you a hand.

– Are/ Is there any …….? – Yes, there is/ are. Or No, there aren’t/ isn’t

Ex: Are there any fruit in the fridge? – No, there aren’t
