R.M. Bhagwat, (Birth: 15 Dec 1931, Death: 21 Jun 2021) erstwhile resident of Dombivli, was a teacher, author and a veteran academician who served as a senior advisor and consultant to a number of orientation courses for mathematics teachers before joining the Homi Bhabha Center for Science Education (HBCSE),[1] Mumbai. He has contributed science articles to Kishor[2] (a Marathi magazine). He has coauthored several books[3]on science[4] and mathematics published by the HBCSE and the Oxford University Press. One of his popular books is 'Everyday Mathematics[5]' ISBN 8123714904[6] published by National Book Trust, India. It is also available in translated Malayalam and Hindi.
