Verve is a global advertising technology company that provides digital marketing solutions across mobile apps, CTV, and other digital channels.[1][2] Verve is the largest mobile supply-side platform in the U.S. by market share according to Pixalate.[3] Verve is also among the top 20 largest ad exchanges by supply coverage according to Jounce Media.[4]

Verve is a public company, listed on the Nasdaq First North Premier Growth Market in Stockholm and the Scale segment of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Verve was upgraded to the SDAX in July 2025.[5]

History

Media and Games Invest (MGI) acquired the online game publisher Gamigo AG from Axel Springer in 2012.[6] Over the next several years, MGI expanded into the digital media sector, acquiring several mobile ad tech companies, such as Pubnative and AppLift in 2019.[7]

In January 2020, MGI acquired the assets of Verve Wireless Inc., a location-based mobile advertising company. Following the acquisition, MGI consolidated its media operations under the name Verve Group.[8] In 2024, MGI officially rebranded as Verve to reflect its primary focus on advertising technology.[9]

Acquisitions

Between 2021 and 2022, Verve made several acquisitions, including Smaato,[10] Beemray, Match2One, and Dataseat.[11]

In June 2024, the company acquired the mobile ad platform Jun Group for $185 million.[12]

Verve made two further acquisitions in September 2025: Captify for €25.6 million[13] and acardo group for €24.5 million.[14]
